If you want to be more intentional with the next 40+ years of your life, honor the time you have left, and create more of what you actually want—this is for you.

Tony Robbins once said:

“Quality questions create a quality life. Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers.”

Let’s get better answers flowing to you—on autopilot.

The 3 Questions That Can Transform Your Life

Today’s episode is all about three questions that will help you stop reacting to life and start creating it. Think of them as mental shortcuts to a more intentional, fulfilling life.

We’re counting down, starting with…

3 questions to change your life

Question #3: Given that this is the situation, what would you like to create?

This one comes from Steve Chandler’s book Creator. Instead of obsessing about “fixing” a problem, this question shifts the focus to creating something new.

Most of us treat problems like ticking time bombs. We panic. We want to cut the right wire before everything explodes.

But what if the problem didn’t hold the power? What if creativity held the power instead?

When you ask yourself, “Given that this is the situation, what would I like to create?” you stop fighting reality. You start designing your way forward.

Bad news at the doctor? Frustrations at work? Sleepless nights?
Pause. Then ask:

“What do I want to create moving forward?”

It’s a whole new energy.

Question #2: Who do I need to be?

Who Do I need to be?

This one’s powerful.

Instead of jumping to what you need to do, first ask:

“Who do I need to be to create the life I want?”

Because when you become the version of you who shows up confidently… who keeps promises to herself… who doesn’t quit when it’s hard…

She naturally does the things.

James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, says:

“The first step is not what or how, but who. Otherwise, your quest for change is like a boat without a rudder.”

Do you need to be the woman who enjoys meal prep? The woman who knows her way around the weight room? The woman who sleeps like a champ?

Decide who you want to be first.
The rest will flow from there.

Question #1: If this ______ were really successful, what would have happened by the end of it?

This one flips the script on how most people think.

Instead of rushing in and asking, “What should we do? What’s next?” ask:

“If this meeting / workout / weekend / conversation were really successful, what would have happened by the end of it?”

This works for:

  • A workout session

  • A girls’ night out

  • Meal planning

  • A tough conversation with your teenager

  • Everything.  Even binge-watching Netflix

Thinking in reverse

When you define success ahead of time, you stop wasting time. You live with purpose—even when the goal is relaxation or fun.

Why These Questions Work

  • They shift your perspective from reacting to creating.

  • They help you spend your time intentionally, so it aligns with your values.

  • They make you the main character in your own story again.

And most importantly?
They bring clarity—and with clarity comes peace.

Your Takeaway

Start asking yourself:

  1. Given this situation, what would I like to create?

  2. Who do I need to be to make it happen?

  3. If this were really successful, what would have happened by the end?

Ask them often enough, and they become the way you think.
